Treasured Landscape 5
Part of a series of small works around 14x14cm painted with acrylic paints onto bevelled edged squares of mount board, a waste product from framing other artworks. With a stock of these I decided to use them and have really enjoyed it, so much so I am planning on continuing the series as and when, allowing the numbers to grow. I usually work in multiples of 3,6,9 finding that it gives me room to play and experiment, push boundaries further than if I just had the one image to play with. Inspired from my daily morning walks, I have given each set of 9 a series of boundaries or rules, limiting the pallets or tools, to really test myself. I’m loving them. This comes mounted onto a white mount board 21x21cm, ready to display or insert into a frame of your choice.
