A short walk from my home, up the lane to the top of the hill, provides far reaching views as the path circles the very top of the hill. Views down the Dee Valley or across Shropshire and Cheshire. It is known and used by locals and also has a wealth of history, as lime kiln are hidden within the trees and remnants of train and tram ways, long since disbanded. A place I frequent to wander and ponder.
